    Pet Transport

Pet Transport from Paris to London

Your dog or cat collected in Paris and brought to you in London by a person, not a cargo hold.

Eurostar does not accept pets on trains to and from London, apart from assistance dogs. If you are moving to London, already there, or travelling without your animal, a member of our team collects it in Paris and drives it to your door in London, once the paperwork is in order.

    Our Approach

    How it works

The paperwork first, then one person with your animal from Paris to London.

    STEP 1

    Brief and paperwork

Tell us about the animal, its documents and the dates. Entry into Great Britain has rules on identification, vaccination and health papers; we go through them with you and your vet before a date is set.

    STEP 2

    Collection in Paris

The courier collects the animal at your home, from a relative, from a pet sitter or from your vet in Paris, with its crate, food and papers.

    STEP 3

    Journey and arrival

The trip is made by road with a Channel crossing that accepts animals, with stops for the animal. You get updates and photos on the way, and the courier hands it over at your door.

    Why not the Eurostar

Eurostar's own pet page states that pets are not allowed on trains to and from London. Only guide dogs and assistance dogs travel, after contacting Eurostar at least 24 hours before. On Eurostar routes between France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, pets are accepted, but not on the London line. The practical options between Paris and London are therefore by road with a Channel crossing, or by air with an approved pet shipper.

When the owner does not travel with the animal

When an animal travels without its owner, the rules for entering Great Britain can differ from those for a pet travelling with its family. We check what applies to your case with you and your vet before booking, and we do not set a date until the documents are ready.

    What you receive

A check of the documents before the date is set, photos at collection, updates and photos during the journey, and a hand over at your door.

Your animal travels with a person, not as freight.
