Forgotten items
You Left Something in Paris and You Are Already Home: How to Get It Back
A jacket in a restaurant, a charger in a hotel room, a journal in a suite. Hotels rarely ship, restaurants never do. A person from our team goes, collects it and sends it to you.
The situation
Why the hotel will not just post it
Most Paris hotels keep lost items for a few weeks and ask the guest to collect them. Few will pack and ship abroad, and a restaurant will simply keep your jacket in the cloakroom. From New York, Tokyo or Sydney, that leaves you with nobody to go.
That is where a person on the ground helps. We call the hotel or the restaurant, confirm they have the item, send them your written authorisation, collect it in person and photograph it so you can check it is yours.
Real requests
What people ask us to bring back
A daughter's personal journal left in a hotel room, sent to New York. A favourite jacket forgotten in a bistro, sent to California. A laptop charger and a few clothes from a hotel, sent to Doha. A camera left in a Montmartre restaurant, brought back to the hotel the same evening before the flight.
For anything valuable we pack it with care, insure it at its declared value and send you the tracking number. For something you need tomorrow, a person can carry it on the train to London or Brussels the same day.
What we need
Three things to start
The name of the place and the date you were there, a short description of the item, and the address where you want it. We take care of the calls, the authorisation and the shipping.
