Your Child Starts University in Paris: We Furnish the Flat Before They Arrive
A fifth floor without a lift, an IKEA list, a fridge to fill. Parents abroad send us the list, we buy, deliver, carry up, assemble and take the cardboard away.
The situation
A small flat, a narrow staircase and a parent far away
Paris student flats are small and often high up. Delivery companies leave boxes at the street door, assembly services come another week, and the parent who would normally do it all is in Dubai, Boston or Riyadh.
We do it in one go. You send the list, we buy everything, deliver it, carry it up the stairs, assemble beds, desks and shelves, connect the lamps, take the cardboard away and leave the flat ready with groceries in the fridge.
Your child arrives, puts the suitcase down and the flat is ready.
Real requests
What parents ask
Everything on an IKEA list for a fifth floor flat without a lift. Beds, desks and a fridge for two brothers sharing a flat before term starts. A dining table bought from a seller in Neuilly, collected and installed. A sofa too big for the stairwell, delivered through the window with a hoist.
And at the end of the year the reverse: furniture dismantled, what is left donated, boxes stored for a month or shipped home.
What we ask
To plan it in one visit
The list or the links, the address with the floor and the code, whether there is a lift, the day the flat must be ready and who gives us the keys. You get one quote with the purchases at their exact price and our service on top, then photos of the finished flat.
